Wisdom Teeth are usually the last teeth to come into place in your mouth. They are also the least likely to be useful. In many cases, wisdom teeth do not erupt until late adolescence or early adulthood. Sometimes, wisdom teeth do not erupt into place at all. In such cases, they are said to be "impacted", which means they are trapped in the jawbone and/or gum tissue. Since wisdom teeth are rarely functional, and can do more harm than good, it is often recommended that they be removed.
We are happy to provide all treatment options regarding your wisdom teeth. If removal is recommended, our experienced staff will make the procedure as comfortable as possible for you.
